Unexpected Delights

Seems my Ugly Soap is getting prettier. Today I un-molded and sliced my latest batch of violet patchouli soap and was rather surprised at how nicely it looked and behaved.

Then I made some time to go outside to delight in the sparkling sunshine, to listen to the snow melt, and to be embraced by the warming thaw that released from its snowy grip a season-worn gift of humble might. It flitted on the breeze and landed at my feet.

That's what I made today.  Peace.

Simply perfect the gifts of nature, like a warm breeze and making soap that turns out beautiful in all it's perfection. I love comments too. Happy Valentines Day Rosie.

OOO that looks lovely. I am very much spoiled by homemade soaps..trying most of the various plurkees that sell soaps. Are you selling this soap or is it just for you? Let me know, I would love to try it if you are selling some.
Happy Valentines Day sweetness.

Sounds like an ugly duckling story ! lol. Maybe it was never ugly in the first place ? It looks quite handsome, now... could it be that it transformed during the winter :)

Violet patchouli sounds lovely! Reminds me of summer - the ground is still buried in snow here!

oh yes, it does look wonderful.

question: I opened a bottle of 100% black cherry concentrate. It fizzed and should not. ha. but it tastes like soda pop in syrup form, ummmm. Makes me wonder if I can turn it into a liquor or wine. What do you think? I have no idea as to how to go about it though.
